Collective Impact

NGCV has undertaken an annual Economic Impact Assessment since 2008-09, which has been viewed very positively nationally and by the sector.  The assessments have all been produced by ERS (an independent consultancy) and are in line with Treasury Green Book guidelines.

Collectively, from 2009-19 we hosted 39 million attendances at our cultural activities and 8.5 million engagements in learning and participation, collaborating with 6 million children and young people.  We contribute upwards of £90 million per year in GVA to the local economy. 

Due to the pandemic, we have not carried out this study since 2019, however we will be publishing figures for the current financial year in the near future.
